The North Midland Area of the United Retriever Club held Intermediate and veteran tests at Carlton Towers, North Yorkshire by kind permission of Carlton Towers estate and the co-operation of headkeeper Mark Fitzer.

The judges were Brian Holmes, David Sidwell and Cherry
Wood, and a supply of pigeons meant the dogs could be tested on cold game. Prizes were kindly sponsored by Alpha.
