The Lincolnshire Gundog Society held a 14-dog novice stake at Stainton-le-Vale, Lincs, by kind permission of Sir Richards Sutton Estates and headkeeper Tim Moss.
This was the first time the retriever section of the LGS held a trial at this ground, which was walked-up in sugar beet.
The weather was good, although blustery. The High Baswick guns shot very well indeed, considering the wind was making things difficult for them.
Tim Moss produced a constant flow of good quality sporting birds, allowing judges Keith Helliwell, Phil Smithies, Godfrey Lowe and Sue Lowe to send dogs for some excellent retrieves.
