The Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria held an a.v. novice/open working test at Butterknowle Fell by kind permission of the Fell Reevers.

Yvonne Storr kindly set some very challenging tests for judges Gordon Hay, Bill Cross and Wilson Atherton.

In the open, a run-off was required to decide first, second and third places, after all three competitors tied with the same points. The next two competitors scored only one point less and were consequently required to run-off for fourth place.
