BASC launches Scotch to celebrate centenary year
A special blended Scotch commissioned for the BASC centenary has gone on sale.
The BASC Centenary blend, which has been produced by Adelphi, is described as 'an intricate marriage of sweet grain whiskies, Speyside and Island malts – Speyside pear-drops and Islay peat smoke'.
Nick Glazebrook, head of fundraising at BASC, said: "We wanted to commission this special whisky to help mark our centenary year. Adelphi has a long history of blending whisky so we knew they would produce a fantastic product for us."
The whisky is priced at £17.50 a bottle, with £2 from the sale going to BASC. For more information visit www.adelphidistillery.com or contact 01972 500 765.
