The 2011 CLA Game Fair had the second-highest attendance figures in its 53 year history.
Organisers of the event were said to be "delighted" after nearly 150,000 country enthusiasts flocked to Blenheim Palace for a superb weekend.
A great celebration of country life, there was something on offer for everyone, from superb local foods and crafts to fine tailoring and a vast array of sporting arms.
GunsOnPegs also had a successful fair, their huge double decker stand looking appropriately grand with the ornate Blenheim Palace in the background.
Shooting Gazette welcomed a host of readers new and old to our stand, where the Countryside Foundation for Education silent auction raised thousands of pounds.
Friday saw Bryn Parry and Giles Catchpole signing copies of their new book, and lucky visitors might even have caught a glimpse of the massed ranks of all our contributors, who gathered together to be photographed for the first time.
Look out for that special shot and many more from across the whole weekend in our September issue, where we will have five pages of superb photographs from the event.
